One Awesome Hubby

My due date is one week from today. But my doctor has been telling me our little girl will be here "any day now!" for FOUR WEEKS! Needless to say, I'm pretty:

Anxious
Tired
Impatient
Emotional
Uncomfortable
Hostile Quick to Anger
BIG

It's pretty exhausting to sit on your bum all day and wonder if your water will break the next time you stand up. Or how long it has been since the last contraction. Or waddle to the bathroom for the third time in one hour. Let's just say I'M READY!

All of these circumstances make me grateful for my awesome husband. He's working a new job and going to school for summer semester plus he has a new church calling so he's not around as much as we would like but when he is, he is always ready to play with our little monkey so I can have a break. And to overlook the cereal bowl that has been sitting on the top of the couch for two days because it would require standing up to put it in the sink.
And one of the things I am most grateful for about my husband is his worthiness to hold the priesthood. When I'd had about enough last night (at 10:30, in my underwear) he gave me a priesthood blessing. I realize not all women, even those within my church have this wonderful opportunity. And I'm so blessed to have my worthy priesthood holder husband.

I'm feeling especially hubby-happy today. Why today? Because today is said hubby's 29th birthday! Happy Birthday to my funny, hard working, messy house forgiving, priesthood blessing giving husband. I couldn't imagine life without you (ok-- maybe I could. I have a pretty active imagination. He says too active. But I wouldn't want to. It would be sad and scary.)
