Happy Halloween!

This little girl loves to be outside. I don't blame her. The fall air this time of year is lovely. Allen was home with her yesterday and told me a cute story. He said he took the dog out to check the mail and as he was walking back to the house, he saw that Miss M had crawled out the open door and was making her way down the (mini) front step. He picked her up and started walking back inside until she screamed and cried. She wanted to play outside! So they played outside for about 15 minutes until she kept trying to crawl off the sidewalk and into the street. When he took her in, she cried again! She's an outdoors-person, just like her daddy.
Anywhoo, on to Halloween!

Friday night we carved pumpkins. We didn't get started until late but we kept M up a little past her bedtime so she could see what was inside.

She thought it was pretty cool but was really more interested in the camera. We may have a future photographer in the family. She LOVES cameras!

Saturday she wore her little Halloween shirt from grandma and played outside with the pumpkins some more.

And then in the evening we went to Mike and Kathy's Annual Halloween Party.

She was a bumble bee. I was super mom. Allen was... Allen. He's not a huge fan of Halloween. Unlike Jess and her family, who all dressed up as garden gnomes.

What a fun first Halloween for Little M!
